¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ Action Grants

The ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ Action Grants program provides small grants of up to $5,000 to innovative nonprofit organizations led by social entrepreneurs.

The ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ Action Grants program aims to bolster and support community-driven nonprofit organizations that are working to enhance the public’s understanding of science and to increase participation in ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ in their communities. Since its launch in 2016, the ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ Action Grants program has awarded a total of $1.42 million to 167 impactful organizations.

Grantees may apply for up to $5,000 in funding and may apply to renew for up to three years. Organizations that receive funding for three years are also eligible to apply for a $10,000 capacity-building grant.

Thanks in part to previous ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ Action Grant funding, the organization’s Outdoor Learning Lab youth programs have expanded to include more environmental ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ lessons. Its most recent ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ Action Grant of $5,000 will connect an even greater number of young people to these opportunities.”
